School Resource Officer Ed Sedlock was presented the “Going The Distance” award from the Spencer County Public School System. Taylorsville is blessed to have Officer Sedlock and Officer Wheatley. SRO Charlie Phillips, Taylor Mill PD spent time with one of his favorite students while showing him how to work the emergency equipment in his cruiser. This student made a special trip to Woodland Middle School to see SRO Phillips.

Scott High School Senior Class purchased items for their veterans’ program. Items will be distributed in the local VA Hospital and USO lounge at CVG Airport. Items were purchased with money donated by KYASRO, KY FOP 10 and money collected from the community.
