Child protection professionals across the country are very concerned about the safety and welfare of children who have been in the home since March due to the pandemic. Many students are still isolated and receiving online instruction. Experts fear these students may be at a greater risk of various forms of abuse and even online threats or cyberbullying. These kids need protection.
I want to make an earnest recommendation to our educators to include the School Safety Tipline information (see below) on every online lesson that is being taught every day. I want the students to have a constant reminder that there is help “out there” …
