KCSS Principal Update for January

From the desk of Patricia Greer, Director of Kentucky Center for School Safety Resource Center The principal Update is now live on the website. View the January message. A few highlights: January requires all schools to complete emergency drills.Per Senate Bill 2, the training requirements call for all staff members (grades 4-12) to receive this training, and students (grades 6-12) shall receive this training before Sept. 15 and again by Jan. 15th.All new employees must be trained on emergency procedures and suicide prevention.
