FOR Social Service Professionals – Sept. 6
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children will provide in-person training to Kentucky professionals focused on preventing child abuse and exploitation. The Missing Children Training will provide valuable insights and knowledge for social service professionals on how to respond when a child under their supervision or care goes missing and how to educate families to prevent children from running away.
During this in-person event, you’ll learn about prevention efforts and how you can support families affected by such incidents and ways to keep children safe from exploitation. You will also learn key indicators to look for to know that a child may be in trouble or considering running away. Our expert speakers from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) will share their experiences and provide practical tips that can make a real difference.
