Please join the Federal School Safety Clearinghouse on May 29 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EDT for a virtual training on supporting K-12 student mental health and wellness. The training will feature a facilitated discussion with federal, state, and local representatives on mental health and wellness resources available to schools, including details on the practical implementation of federal funding and effective models for school-based mental health programs and services.

Specific topics addressed during the training will include the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Project AWARE grant program, engaging students to address mental well-being through a Multi-Tiered System of Support model, and additional resources and programs.
