At the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), the safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. In accordance with the recently passed Senate Bill 73, schools are now required to share important information about sexual extortion and display posters in a prominent location. KDE has developed resources for districts and schools to use to alert students and their parents/guardians these threats.  Posters are available in English and Spanish in age-appropriate language for schools to display in their buildings.  Additionally, sample letters are available for schools and districts to customize for dissemination to students and their parents/guardians.

We are committed to equipping families with the tools they need to help protect their children. Together, we can build safer school communities. For more information, contact Blake.Konny@education.ky.gov.
