Highlights:
Drill requirements from KRS 158.162: One (1) severe weather drill, one (1) earthquake drill, and one (1) lockdown drill within the first thirty (30) instructional days of each school year, and again during the month of January.

Suicide Prevention Information for Middle and High School Students
KRS 156.095 requires that every public school and public charter school shall provide two (2) evidence-based suicide prevention awareness lessons each school year, the first by September 15 and the second by January 15, either in person, by live streaming, or via a video recording, to all students in grades six (6) through twelve (12).
