A few highlights:
- January requires all schools to complete emergency drills.
- Per Senate Bill 2, the training requirements call for all staff members (grades 4-12) to receive this training, and students (grades 6-12) shall receive this training before Sept. 15 and again by Jan. 15th.
- All new employees must be trained on emergency procedures and suicide prevention.
