SUMMARY:Feb. 18\, 2026 – SSC/OSSSM Regional Lunch Meetings
DESCRIPTION:From the desk of Jon Akers\, Executive Director of Kentucky Center for School Safety \nDear SSCs and School Security Marshal Compliance Officers: \nVery briefly\, I want to invite you to a networking option in your area. We have scheduled six short lunch meetings around the state. Dan Orman\, KCSS Training Coordinator\, will be present for every meeting and is enthusiastic about meeting with you in various parts of Kentucky. We would ask that you RSVP so that we have enough lunches/drinks ordered. We are looking forward to these conversations! \nAlicia Lombardi will reach out from KSBA with a simple RSVP tool (you are welcome to attend more than one if you’re in a “border area”). \nKentucky Center for School Safety – Regional Meetings for School Safety Coordinators\, OSSSM Compliance Officers\, and School Leaders \n10:00-11:30      Questions/Conversation\n11:30-12:15      Lunch/Networking \n*IN CASES OF INCLEMENT WEATHER\, WE WILL REACH OUT TO THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED FOR CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT INFORMATION. \nI hope this is something that will enhance the difficult jobs you do every day. We thank you for doing those difficult jobs to enhance safety and security throughout Kentucky and we look forward to the opportunity to sit down and enjoy lunch with you. \n
